Default Scoob newb

Hi everyone. I have just purchased my first scooby after a long wait of searching for the right one. Ended up with a 55 plate Obsidian black WRX PPP. Picking it up on Saturday and can't wait. I've browsed the forum for quite a while and now I have bought one decided to become a member

Well I have had the car just over a week now and have barely had chance to take any pictures, I've been too busy enjoying it. But here is one for now.

Got the typical knock on the rear shock but it ain't too bad at the minute, and it could also do with a detail as there quite a few scratches throughout the bodywork, no deep ones but just lots of small light ones which I want to get corrected. This was by far the best example I managed to find after searching for around 6 months though.

Very nice Personally I would keep it standard but do you have any plans?

Thanks bud. I don't plan on doing a lot to it, I would like the sti winglets and splitter for the front, and a couple of bits for the interior but I will be keeping it pretty much standard, currently saving up for my wedding which is my main priority at this time (future wife sat next to me as I type this lol)

Do you not let her be a passenger in the scooby? That should be all she needs, no need for a wedding

Yea she can be passenger occasionally, she is more annoyed that she can't get insured on it haha, at least not for another year or so anyway.

I just don't want to stop driving it at the minute, any excuse to go out just for a drive

You start to go the long way round to go places and plan the route that has the best roads.

Everyone loves rollers, so thought I'd post a shot my friend took with my camera on the way to Japfest 2 a few weeks back

Also done my first mini mod yesterday and fitted a D1 spec gear ****, nice heavy gear **** which makes the gear change much smoother and precise and rids of the only dated looking part of the interior.
