Default Good Paintshop/Bodyshop

Hi guys, I have put similar post on Midlands local forum, but no one never replay. I want to refresh my front and rear bumpers together with door trims, on my Subaru Forester XT. Can anyone could recommend some decent body/paint shop? I am based in Derby, so ideally would like something within East Midlands, but I am willing to travel even more for the good quality job.

Many thanks,
Lucas

I can certainly recommend a body shop that I use and will only use for my cars, they've been specialising in vehicle body repair for many years, there based in Sheffield (so not too far) and I can assure you you won't be disappointed with there work. Also there great people to deal with.

Company is called John bee 01142494883 (beased on abbeydale rd, sheffield) they have a website but don't think it shows there best work in what they deal with but do give them a try.

Hope that helps.

Also depends on how much you want to spend.

To be honest money are not the most important. I am more after quality. I have generally really bad experience with garages and body/paint shops.
Obviously I want the parts being properly painted, but as well properly removed and re-assemble.
Whenever I was picking up my car from any garage/bodyshop, always was missing some screws, clips, something was broken, and so on, so on. So I generally looking for people familiar with Subaru (although that not guarantee anything) and now their stuff.

Cotswold Classic Car Repair, based just south of Cirencester in Gloucestershire. Bit far, but I took the Impreza there to have a new front wing and bumper re-spray.

Those are now the best bits on the car - paint matched really well. If I had the money I'd take it to them and get a full respray with rust repair too.

Look through his threads on his own cars, and see the level of work he puts in!!

You wont regret it, He painted the whole side of my dads bug wrx and fixed the dreaded arch rust, and detailed it, giving it a full machine polish etc which I think he does to every car they have in, all at a very good price, and more importantly did a brilliant job, car looked brand new when finished!!!

This is the company he works for!!

and this is his details incase you want to pm him!

wish this guy was more closer to me, ive had to result in buying 2 second hand doors to sort my doors out after they were keyed, quotes round here were £500 to have the panels resprayed, too much out of my pocket , £80 for 2 doors.

hadnt realised how much body shops charge nowadays LOL, hpe this guy does the job your after, sound slike he will :-)
