Back in an Impreza :)
Well, it's been 5+ years since I last had a Subaru, but yesterday came back to the marque with a 2005 blobeye wagon. It's the SL, so full leather, sun roof and PPP. 1 owner from new and full Subaru service history. 84k miles on the clock.
Really wasn't wanting to spend much money on a car and this ticks all the boxes for me. More space for the kids (last car was a 3.2V6 TT) and 4 wheel drive for the winter.
Only slight issue is that the clutch feels very heavy - really pushes back against you when you depress it. Bite is pretty high, but there isn't any slipping. Might just be a case of me getting used it a heavier clutch.
Anyway, good to have an excuse as well to be back on Scoobynet

Yep, it was from a garage in Carnoustie - up past Dundee. Around a 110 mile round trip from me, but worth it as I've been keeping my eye out for a while and not many clean blobeye wagons around up here - and I've not seen any others with leather and PPP. Latter is a big bonus, as I''m hoping that it will prevent me from modding the car. My last wagon had 320 bhp and I really want to keep this one standard. Famous last words of course....

I've got those skirt/bumper spats ready to fit on mine, same as on the GB270 wagon. Would look better if they were colour coded I think, which is what I'll be having done. Wasn't sure if they would suit the car without 18s fitted but look pretty cool!
