Default Remap?

Would I need a remap after fitting a new air filter or could I just fit it and away to go?

When I fitted my RCM induction kit the EML lit up
but when I did it the next day I was already taking my car to RA motorsport for lots of work then a remap.

I think you do need a remap for induction kit as its something to do with the MAF sensor mate so me personally I would not fit one unless it was getting remapped

EDIT- if just a panel filter then no remap needed

I got a k&n panel filter, I'm going to get a few other bits and bobs along with a remap but not sure if I should just wait and fit it all the day before I get it mapped or just fit it now lol.

Remove the centre cat and resonator on the exhaust, fuel pump, new plugs, 3 port boost solenoid then maybe headers and matched up-pipe.
