As long as you are chuffed to bits and are happy with the deal you got then let's not **** on the guys strawberries and go over the whole Jimmy and x spec situation again. To the OP yes Jimmy has some colourful history some you may still be able to find but most I'm sure has been looked by the mods on here.
Sorry but the car is and will not be to many people taste but as long as you are happy then good luck and welcome to the forum. There are plenty of good people on here who will be able to offer some great advice etc. There are also like anywhere some fools so don't bite, ignore it and enjoy your car and the plans you have with it.
Just do yourself one favour and if you buy any goods on here please pay via PayPal, pay the fees and do not send as a gift.
Welcome and enjoy

If I had to make a newage 2 door I would probably start from a classic type R too. Neil was doing it the right way with his newage 2 door conversion, buy sadly never got to complete it. I would however find a way to fit a newage rear end to it.
Could be interesting project this. In my opinion I dont like the fit & height of the rear arches. Need to be much higher to align with the fronts.
That said, its your car nd good luck with it! Welcome to snet.
