how much will a standard engine take?

Default how much will a standard engine take?

i have a standard 95 wrx and looking to upgrade i have exhaust, induction kit etc but looking for more boost, was looking at an ihi sti turbo! what would benefit me fitting that than just uping the boost on the td05? how much would the standard engine handle?

ive got a 94 wrx which has done a genuine 62k, 324bhp and 300lb running 1.5 bar boost on a td05

Mine, MY94, makes 330BHP-289lb/ft at 1 bar. Ran in this state of tune for over a year now.

my old wrx was running 340bhp on standard internals and TD05, the car had done 82k miles and still went like a rocket, was running 1.5bar mapped by zen performance with full supporting mods, used as a daily car and never let me down!
