Great cars, had a Quattro back in the day, and would still have another at the drop of a hat, although that has some history its a bit of a shed, and going to be silly money for what it is.

 

My Dad had three - the first was turned out to be a cut and shut so under threat of a damn good suing, the dealer sourced him another (and supplied him with a Ferrari then a V12 Jag in the meantime), then he went for a full Treser model - looked like this but in two tone silver and blue. VERY VERY 80s!! Had an extra 30 or so bhp and a few tasty extras.

 

Used to have a red 87 ur quattro at the same time as my scoob.

I remeber watching the Ashes to Ashes series and the quattro they had on screen had the thin ronal wheels pre 83 IIRC. This advert has the full fat ronals????

 

Used to love the sound these things made as rally cars, probably even to this day the sexies sounding rally car ever made TBH.

 

Great sound from the 5 pot! Absolute classic now!

 

I had a fiat coupe 20v turbo, 5 pot, sounded great too.
