Supose it depends on the condition.

Why is it up for sale? They are thirsty cars, so less people willing to buy such cars will knock the values.

Compare it to others up for sale.

There are a few around this price range. I just thought they'd fetch more!

I was looking at ST3's 2007 / 2008 plates with low mileage for around the 8k mark.

Went for a test drive in one and loved it to bits. Fun, sporty, pokey, enough gadgetry inside to keep you entertained, but opted against it due to the average 13mpg I scored on the afore mentioned test drive.

If you're not bothered about fuel consumption and you like the car, go for it.

Was there something wrong with it? Surely a MAF sensor or something? I knew they werent good but not that bad.

Mine was chipped with 275ish bhp and never dropped below 23mpg average on a tank.

best thing about em is the seats, worst thing going rusty when less than 2 years old, no feel with the steering, pointless traction control - works the same as the brakes

Actually thats a good point, the recaro's in my ST3 were the most comfortable seats I've ever had in a car and even the missus agreed!
