Default How Many Left? (cars)

Here's a good site for finding out how many old cars are left on the road:

http://howmanyleft.co.uk/

Only 27 RWD XR4i Sierras left on the road I wonder how many of those are three doors?

It appears my old NSX-T is now one of 12!!! http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/honda_nsx_v6_targa

That makes it more rare than a 22b! http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/sub...2b-sti_type_uk

Even worse...only 23 Astra Belmont LXis left on the road!! :http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/vau...ra_belmont_lxi

(My dad used to have one as a company car...The LXi was basically an astra estate with the hot-hatch running gear:....1.8 GTE engine and Burberry Recaros, so quite nippy )

This can't be right!! No Jaguar XJ12Cs left, be it sorn or taxed?? http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/jaguar_xj12_c

That was the coolest Jag of the 70's.....especially in Broadspeed touring car trim- As seen in the avengers. At least the race cars are still working, even if they aren't road going)

That only works on Sorned cars, older cars that have been off the road since before Sorn became law, don`t come up as they didn`t ever have to apply for a sorn. Its only since then that if they became taxed, they have to apply for sorn if going off the road again.

In all cases they are still off the road and not really being used (unless exported).

So its either crushed, rusting in a field, an old race car, or in a museum

All of them, can't get 5 door XR4i only the XR4x4i were 5 door (had one of those ).

Edit; just remembered the early 90's excuse for an xr4i with the 2litre twin cam was 5 door

I still have my dad's brand new unregistered Commando 850 interstate: One of the last off the production line. Never been started, no acid in the battery etc (except the sparkplugs are used as I borrowed them temporarily to get a Dominator running ). He bought it to replace his current Commando for when it wore out, but he never got round to using it, as he ended swapping the used Commando for a Suzuki GSX750 instead which instantly made the new Commando 850 a dinosaur.

Although unfortunately (for me ), brand new 850 Commandos aren't quite so rare/valuable now, as some bike shop owner in Belgium died and his executors found eleven of them still in their original shipping crates

http://www.motorcycleclassics.com/bl...n-belgium.aspx

Still, most sold for above $21,000 which is about £13,700 at todays exchange rate, so not too bad.
