Ok,
So I'm supposed to be buying a 4wd performance saloon, but the ones I like (RS4, possibly an S4) is just turning up very rarely and quite a bit more expensive for a recent model (This is in Vancouver, in the UK you seem to be able to hold your hand up and one gets dropped onto your driveway ).
S6 it is then as that's the only 4WD...what's not to like? 5.2litres, 430bhp.
Anything other than 4wd would be silly, it snows here, my driveway is little steep and the house is halfway up a mountain.
Except...I want the M5 (2006), or the AMG (2009)and the Maserati is a bargain (2007 with 7k km on the clock!, oh and the noise!!!)
In fact they all sound better than the S6 and just have a bit more "presence" about them.
Gonna test the M5/Maserati and possibly the AMG today.
And to add another requirement...my daughter is learning to drive and will be using my car :-O
Thoughts and opinions please!
Cheers

Maser for me too. Less of them around, and look cool as f00k in Black.
I'd go for the Sport GT. Or if you can afford it, the GTS.

Looked at the AMG, blimey it makes a very nice noise almost biblical!, turbo like punch in the back! and in the dry huge grip! Massive breaks! I hate to think how much to replace
Also looked at a 2008 M3, white with red fox leather, manual but still impressive, slightly more chuckable but didn't feel as fast
And they had a Z4M, which I managed to walk past without even looking inside.
Tomorrow...M5 and Maserati...or I might just go see the AMG again
Cheers
