im more of an escort fan and after rebuilding my mk3 for the last 2 years my only advice is that people who are in the market for these cars now prefer originality, not saying it wouldnt sell as it looks a top job but done to the taste of the owner and there looks to be a mix and match on a few parts. Any how it all depends on the deal you are offered to know if there will be any profit in it. Nice car though!!!

Prob a laser on a C reg. Grille is from a mk2. Depends on the quality of work done and state of tune of the engine. Pinto's are bomb proof and can be tuned to well over 200bhp. (I have a stroked 2.2 on 48's thats 226) desirable cars now. Best to trawl some of the capri forums for dome advice on price etc but I would say 3k+

comments on the grill are right. Also view from the rear.... only the V6's had twin exhaust pipes. Also the seats look like they are from a 2.8i.
Looking at the interior pic it does look like an original radio
Bit mix and match but condition looks good.

the engine dependant on spec would be worth more than the car.. Ive a MK1 escort and my engine is approx £3K but its a xflow.
If the pinto is a 205 block its worth more as its a N/A cossy block and are sort after by the rally boys

looks like a mish mash of diffrent models tbh mate as said 2.8i seats twin pipes from v6 2.8 or 3.0 ltr
but that aside have a look on pistonheads for a rough price as they are going for really stong cash nowdays

its someones attempt to make it look like a 2.8 capri without the v6 engine.the only capris that hold any good money are 2.8is and 3.0s.dont like the fake twin exhausts.the engine looks had a bit of money with the 4 branch manifold and twin40 carbs.

As said above,it's a mish mash of different models.Over the years I've had 3-the last being a C reg laser. The last of the line pinto engined cars were all lasers.
It doesn't look like the standard paint for a laser, the seats, exhaust and grill are all from a different model as mentioned.
Depends on what you want to do with the car-its not an original car,so would need money to get it to standard.
They need a bit of work to make them modern day driveable-good fun though!
The spare bits are sought after-I've just sold two plastic bumper end caps that I had lying around, for £150!
It's that wrx v sti question-why buy the lower power version when there are Brooklands 280s about...
