Default Mercedes SLS in York

Saw this on Friday evening - what a HUGE car. Certainly striking but the faux retro made it look ugly as hell.

Big and ugly - what can you say. I hope it is great to drive and really fast then no-one will have to look at you long!

I like it...and then I read the price and think that or a DBS or a 458 or a Gallardo or a house and just laugh at anyone who would buy that...and then laugh even more when you compare one to a GT3 or even the new GT2 RS.

Ok take out the GT3, I forgot anyone who spent that money on an SLS probably doesnt need to think about value for money, and add in a Vantage V12.

Sorry, i think it's stunning.

The retro/modern look really does it for me....although i do probably prefer the Mclaren SLR. At least...i prefer the noise.

As said I like it but it is just too over priced for what it is going up against.

When is that new Mclaren coming out? It will then be compared to that as well.

If you can afford to spend 170k on cars, then i don't think the price tag would faze you much.

I hate it and the fact they use it as the F1 safety car. Much prefer the aggressive look of the SL65.

£130,000 is still too much for a Merc. The SLR got away with it by being designed in collaboration with McLaren but now they have lost that USP.
