Default Anyone had a go with a Mazda RX7!!!??!!

Well, I've been having real fun with my mates Newly bought RX7 today, But unfortunately for me I've also got my fat *** kicked big big time since I owned my STi for almost 6 years.

Well, His RX7 just came out from a Engine rebuilt and it was running something like 495 horses. I have to admit it tho it actually bloodly made my STi like a fxcking bus with like 30 passenger in it... tbh I have never had my my *** kicked like that before... not even a 415 bhp spec C.....:bri ckwall

I Just love it!!!

One of my mates has a Black Rex which is quite well known in the Manc area.
It is constantly in having re-build work though, they dont like running that sort of power for long.
It is blisteringly quick though, and the sound of a bridge-ported Rx & Screamer pipe is just rude

495hp, rear wheel drive you'd need a mental Scoob to keep up ... still only a matter of time before it goes off like a bomb

My friend has a RX7 and he's just completed a 6L V8 installation (yes, that's right - SIX litre V8 )

He's now in the process of getting the managment sorted, but here's a clip of it firing up in his garage immediately after the transplant... http://www.flickr.com/photos/efiniste/4949564398/

The guy is called Steve. By day he's a sensible man who works in a solicitors office. By night in his garage, he's insane (and I love it!). Best bit - I'm getting a passenger ride next weekend

Yup - he got sick of rebuilding the engine so opted for reliable high power. Handling though could be , errm - interesting...

Sounds like a good idea but the RX7 is a small car designed for a light engine set quite far back from the front axle.
