Default anybody had a vxr8?

hi had scoobs for the last 4years and loved them but now fancy a change been thinking of the usual m3 but you don't get much for your money i mean 2003 going for around 18,000+ abit high for a 5 year old car so have seen a few vxr8 about and like the look but know nothing about them can you peeps help me?

I keep toying with these as a potential next car.

But will I be disappointed coming from a scoob, it's performance, all weather capability, cost of running for the performance and reliability? The cost/reliability/performance I don't think can be beaten it's just will a VXR8 tick enough boxes?
