Default BMW E93 M3 vs Nissan GTR35

Right I have been a long term fan of the Skyline ( I know the GTR35 isn't a "Skyline") and have the option of owning one of these two fantastic cars.

Head says M3 heart says GTR35 what do you reckon?

My head would say the same, but i saw a GTR this morning and something tells me if i was picking from the two, i would be taking the GTR. The finish/build has vastly improved of jap cars over the years, so i can only think the GTR would be just as easy to live with in a day to day basis. However i feel the GTR bigger kick up the **** when you want it to.

Powertrains and Performance

The 2009 Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates 473 hp and 434 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission routes this prodigious power to the ground via an advanced all-wheel-drive system.

In our instrumented testing, the 3,836-pound GT-R teleported to 60 mph in a drama-free 3.3 seconds, thanks to its launch control function, and turned in a blistering 11.6-second quarter-mile at nearly 121 mph.

I notice your mate has a P1 also! any chance you could ask him how the P1 compares with the GT-R on narrow and or wet roads? I bet that P1 with mods would surprise with its nimble moves and progressive adjustability in the narrow bits.

Thanks, Jeremy

I would choose the M3 if comfort, high mileages, infrequent/cheaper servicing are a priority.
