Test drove one about a year ago, to be honest it wasnt that bad, apart from the driving position (rubbish) its like you are sitting on top of the car, the quality was good though the one i drove had full leather and all the options. You have got to remember its only got 150 bhp and its not bad for that, but agreed above, also drove a 182 clio at the time and a whole world of difference ;-) but still went back and bought my 5th scooby :-) depends what you really want out of a car. Not sure about the legroom in the back, but its only a fiesta so your not going to get 6 foot plus guys in the back.

Baby and ST's do not go at all. My close mate bought a Blue ST just before his baby was born. I went with him for test drive, He still has it now and it is not a all practical for having a baby. He knows he made a mistake as he was looking at a BMW 3 series at the time too. He Mrs still moans now about the ST been too small.
If you can afford it and you have your mind set on a ford performance do to the focus ST. Will be a lot better with a bigger boot for prams etc.

I think the green ones with the checkered tops were Zetec S's rather than the ST.
We fancied one a couple of years ago for the wife's car. They get good write ups but they just didn't feel fast, even when thrashed and you sat on it rather than in it.
I think they would have been a contended 5-7 years ago but the game has moved on. The Mountuned ones appear good with 180bhp but that works out at an expensive car compared to a 197 Clio or even a 3 year old Mini Cooper S.

the focus st and rs is out of my reach. wot about the 180 renaultsport cleo?? looked at a few of them on auto trader, about same size as fiesta but quicker and better mpg. any1 know about these??? i have worked out a sneaky plan on the baby situation, as long as i can get a single pram into the boot on the cleo i think ill be ok for a bit.
