Wink Buy an Exige and get free car-parking!

I was coming out of the Stansted short-stay car-park recently and I noticed this nice little Lotus Exige waiting to exit in the adjacent lane. He was blipping his throttle and I just thought he was trying to show off.

Then the car in front of him inserted his ticket at the machine and the barrier raised to let it out. Quick as a flash the Exige was off right behind him and escaped from the car-park before the barrier had a chance to come down again!

At a massive £26.40 per 24 hours turn up on the day short-stay price, he could have saved himself nearly £400 on car-parking for a fortnight's holiday!

Mind you it would have been a trifle more expensive if the barrier had lopped his overhead air intake and rear wing off!

I know of loads of European tour golfers who do that on a regular basis, they save themselves a fortune on parking over the season

Jesus Christ: it's nice to know that poor old over-stretched Plod is spending his time solving important crimes.

They've gotta get that lucrative overtime from somewhere I suppose!

Yeah its not like they don't have cctv at airport car parks. And they especially don't have cctv cameras that take photo's of your face when you enter the car park. He'll have well got away with that one.

Obtaining services by deception - 1978 theft act, so meaty enough the police to take action I guess..

Making off without payment.
