Has anyone else had a look at the new VW scirocco? Just had a look at the one they have at the VW dealers in Reading, and it looks a stunning car, almost evil from the front, wide arches and loads of room, esp as i'm 6ft 4.

Not bad on tax either band E £170*,

Looked at one at the weekend (just looked, no drive). So much better in the flesh - really compact, and with all the kit (leather, sat nav etc) looked fine inside too.

Broadspeed site reckon they can do them for £1300 off... surprising, but maybe an indication of economic times...

Never thought I'd ever buy a new car, but I'm seriously tempted...

This one had all the bells and whistles too, the dealer said they were only allocated 8 and had sold 4!! might be a bit of dealer BS but...
As you said i had never considered a new car but I'm seriously tempted! because they are much better in the flesh.
Why o why couldn't Subaru come up with something like this?

Not BS mate we have 2 at the moment and we're allowed another 6, we have sold the 2 as of last weekend and taking orders like there is no tomorrow, Have driven the one and can honestly say it is a real drivers car handles the road really well and there's a lot of feedback from steering and suspension when set on sports mode. Like i've said to my pals if I was in the market for a new car this would be it, and it takes a lot to impress me with Brand new models.
