Default Tyre bubble

Hi All

Just noticed this bubble on my tyre..... is it serious enough to warrant a new tyre asap or can I drive on it?

looks like you have hit something fairly hard and damaged the sidewall. I would get it changed ASAP.

The fact you have doubt means change it. I wouldn't drive around on a tyre in that state. A tyre blowout can kill you.

Change it.

Cheers lads.... I kinda expected that.... the two front tyres are about 4 weeks old... and here in Holland they insist you have to change the front two in tandem....

Can you not just take that wheel on it's own to the tyre place saying it's your spare?

That's probably what the chaps tyre looked like who passed me on the A12 a few weeks back...........just before it exploded.

How it didn't cause a multiple pile up I'll never know. I was very lucky and only escaped with a small mark on the bonnet and a broken arch liner. He on the other hand lost most of his front wing, front bumper and radiator......!!!!

Never take chances with tyres

you have split one of the layers that make up the side wall of the tyre , and it is only being held together the external tyre wall ,very dangerious and silly to drive on change asap . p.s if you cant remember hitting anything get the shop you brought it from to get the tyre sent back for inspection it won't cost you anything .and if its found to ve faulty money back lol .

Give Deep @ pitbox in Den Haag a call Ian . They specialise in Scoobs and other rice racers and I'm sure he'll only order what you need.
