Someone reckons he can get 450bhp out of a 1.8 zetec engine he called me0u021e. Take a look. www.fiestaturbo.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=11845&forum=17&286

I'm actually reading it now
Not only is this guy a master engine builder, but he can get IO communication with his laptop to run at a higher speed than a CPU
If he said that the program was was stored in an EPROM or similar then that might have made a bit of sense, although the way he is talking the actual CPU would have to have an extra instruction set added to allow it to perform the calculations internally, but ultimately any IO is the slowest part of the system, not the CPU as he previously stated.
I don't know enough about hypothetical engine models to disagree or otherwise with that part of his other arguements, but the computer bit seems seriously flawed.
And I've only made it half way through the second page

Not read the guy's post but Severn valley have got 450BHP from a 2 litre Zetec, it also takes another 150BHP nitrous on top so I can't see there being a problem with 1800 engine.... http://www.btinternet.com/~severn.valley/pukkasp.html
