Yes, stunning car with stunning performance. I'd be very surprised if the UKprice does not have to go up on that though. When it was announced the pound was nearer 250 yen, its since droped to under 225. That adds 10% to the price of the car. The price on the newera website is only a guideline, they will base the actual price on the exchange rate when you decide to buy, as they import to order.
Personally I'd be extremely surprised to see any for sale in the UK for less than £60k on the road, if the pound drops back to 200 then your looking at 65-70k. Theres also still a lot of confusion about getting these through emmissions tests for the model report, which could add more to the cost if they need to be significantly modified.

Hope it's decidedly more involving to drive than some previous models, over engineered is the phrase that springs to mind, but time will no doubt tell, hope it is as good as it promises to be.

The lexus LF-A on the other hand looks like a proper sports car. Good to see they back end resembles the old supra, definatelty its best angle. The only thing that worries me is that toyota are turning Lexus into a very expensive brand. Dont mind paying for good cars but they do seem to be hiking their prices up in recent times, the new GTR has hit the nail on the head for price, personally I think the new supra needs to be in the same price bracket as the gtr.

I'm toying with putting a deposit down for one of these, but I think it will be too heavy to be that fun to drive. It will come into its own at insane speeds, but I'm getting older and driving slower!

I must say, the new GTR and EVO X looks mean...just a shame the GTR wont be brought into South Africa. And on the off chance of that happening, it will sell for about 1mil here So my next best option would be the EVO X, as it looks a hell of a lot better than the new scoob (please dont assault me for that statement). IMO the 2008 Scoobs looks like a mix between the Dawhoo Lanos and Mazda 3

"If you've got a job, a driving licence and get out of bed before midday, Nissan's Skyline GT-R is probably the most famous car you've never heard of. If, however, you live in the dark spaces between dusk and dawn, the fridge and the computer, Dave TV and Gran Turismo, then this test is going to be rather disappointing.
Because this is a real car, dudes, not the top-gun virtual racer on your Sony PlayStation."
Definitely one of the funnier intros to a car review! Fairly interesting write up here:
