Yet another car choice thread!!!!
I am in a quandary and so wondered what the combined knowledge that is Scoobynet thought.
My position is this; I have a company car which doubles as an excellent family transport. So, my wife's sensible Audi A3 can go to make way fro something a little more exciting as I want to get back into doing the odd track day. However, she still needs something that can transport 4 people, be reliable and have some street cred. As it is to be a semi-toy, ideally I want it to be RWD.
The options that are under consideration are :-
Have I missed anything or any combinations?
Steve
Ps My wife won't have an EVO

Out of all those I'd pick the DC5...had a passenger ride in one and very impressed.
I had an RX8 for two years with no problems, great car, good spec and probably a more comfortable daily drive but would prefer the rawness of the DC5 for the track.
Instead of the MX5, what about an elise/caterfield? You'd have more fun on a track in these than any 4 seater....

You may think they are gay, but the last shape MR2 handles unbelievably well and is pretty quick too - Not far off being like an Elise that can be used daily and won't break down!
I've driven an MX5 and seriously prefer the MR2.

Keep the Audi and get the 1.8 mx5. I'm sure the MR2's are excellent also but the MX5 is a living legend and comes highly rated by every expert in the business... they can't all be wrong
Only change the Audi if it is giving you trouble, otherwise you know its history and they are good cars.

Out of your choices given, I'd definately go for a DC5, there's not a lot about and they do look
Other than those it'd have to be either an older S4 or an E39 M5
