Exige / Elise / 911 / VX220 / TVR / Noble
I am looking to sell my 325 CI and have something with two seats, I like all the cars mentioned in the Title but just cant decide on what to get,
I am swaying towards an Exige, has anybody here driven or owned an exige, think the new ones in white look V sexy,
On the above I would be happy to spend 15 K and get a VX 220 Turbo up to 35K to get a get a Nobel or a new ish Exige,
Cant decide if its worth spending the extra on the Exige over a VX or even an Elise.
Or anything similar that im missing that I should also include , just to make the decission harder.!

Make sure you sit in an Elise or a Exige first, I had my heart set on a Elise S2 when I sold my Evo VII, only to turn up to the test drive with my missus only for her to refuse to get in the thing, and me struggling to get in it, I decided that the Elise would be ideal if I did a few trackdays but this was going to be my fun car that the missus could also drive to work and back if needed!!!! I think at the time I was thinking with my heart and not my head on this one, shame really as I love the Elise, but if you have a second car that you could drive and have the Elise as fun car, then Id say go for it.

Exige / Elise excellent as second car but not as only car (IMO ... having owned a 111S).
VX only marginally better in practicality and usability.
TVR / Noble I'd seriously worry about reliability.
So ... from your list the 911 is the best choice IMO if it will be your only car and if you can afford a good one.

Guys, the car will be my second car and probably only be used for blasting around for short journeys, I pan to get a Navara for the family car,
Also I have no problem at all in fitting into small cars
Come on what about the Exige are they great or not ?

I drove a 111R which is similar to the Exige.
Good:
Stonking grip.
Most "connected" car ever.
Very quick when thrashed.
Gorgeously direct steering.
Lovely brakes.
Bad:
Terrible plasticky interior for a £30k car.
Sounded like a Barryed up Nova.
Same engine as a Toyota Corrolla.
Needs merciless thrashing.
Liked it but not enough to consider one.
