Interesting observation at a BMW dealers...
A Euro car parts van exiting the parts department
Now, was he delivering, or picking up parts?

I watched an episode of 'The Garage' on sky where the fluid suspension unit on a Bentley had failed. The replacement part they sourced from Bentley in a Bentley parts bag with a Bentley cod on had Citroen stamped on it!!
Bet Bentley charged alot more for it than buying it direct from Citroen.
As has been said, common parts manufacturers and shared parts across manufacturers is the norm.

Euro car spares. They have been investigated a few times for selling fake parts. No wind up. The owner used to know a friend of mine (before he 'mr euro" ripped him off over some imported cars). Some very iffy stuff been sold complete with the correct boxes etc. They have it all made up . Very cvheap company that has made millions. supply just about everyone.
FACT AND TRUE.

Done the discs and pads on my E36 when I had it a few years ago, got the discs and pads etc from Euro for £70'ish IIRC
ATE Pads can't remember the discs manu, remember taking the pads out of the box and thinking wonder if these are any good? only to be confirmed ok when I took the pads out of the calipers to have ATE stamped on the back, only difference was lack of BMW paint stamp.

Most products are a concoction of parts from many suppliers. Open up your any brand DVD player and you'll find chips by Hitachi, Sony, LG, Motorola etc. The old 80's Aston Martin V8 Coupe door mirrors were iro £180+paint+fitting+vat from AM dealers. It happened to be the same mirror fitted to Citroen AX GT's, available from Citroen dealers for iro £16. Look at your Scoob, with it's Nissan electric window switches, Brembo calipers, Denso MAF sensors etc. ECP have had a history of selling cheap clone parts as OE manufacturer items, getting them mass produced in the likes of Turkey, complete with counterfeit boxes, but on the whole I think most of what they supply is what you need at the price it should be. Along with GSF they have saved ma a small fortune over the years on my unreliable old Corrado, I just wish they'd start selling Scoob parts.

Bought both genuine(filters & plugs) and discs and pads from ECP. As mentioned the brake pards (for a Golf GtI) were Pagid, same as OE. Same with mats for a Volvo...£90 at main dealer and I replaced originals for £25. They were identical.
