Default Unvalved Milltek Exhaust just fitted to my B7 RS4

This morning I had a Milltek Catback system fitted to my RS4 and although I thought the sound was great before this, it is absolutely stunning now!!. From fire up onwards it is just a totally different (much deeper and purposeful ) sound. It sounds a bit like the "unrestricted" SL 55 noise in the F1 course car!!
Now will not sound puny against the "weekend " car I am buying next week in Rosso/Crema!!

Cost circa £850. If weather is OK and I can clean the car I will attach some pics early in the week.

Dave - A mate has the latest RS4 and is getting MTM to supercharge it once the kit is ready - More for the low down torque increase that the bhp rise.

Will report back when it 's done and when I've driven it.

can hear some resonance coming from that miltek which i wouldnt be happy about for that price also your putting a freeflow exhaust on still after the biggest restriction in the exhaust system which i dont think is gonna really make a difference.......it just seems rediculously expensive for a stainless bit of pipe which isnt even the length of your car it only goes up to the cats seems crazy considering i bought my mx5 for 500 quid.
but hey its your money!!

nothing to do with power, and you know that full well so stop fishing.

its about the sound. listen to the above file. for me, the sound is 50% of the driving experience. The standard cars are far too muted for the type of car they are.

Here is my M5, enjoy your MX5.

ok but i wouldnt spend that money for the noise...your car sounds good i seen it when you posted it b4.
cant help but thinking i could of made a stainless exhaust myself would of just needed to buy the silencer but could do the pipework and the hangers and the flanges for next to nothing.its only a bit of stainless pipe theres no real science behind it like they would want you to believe..... theres no moving parts its just pipework.
