What a credit to the owner this car is. i would be terrified to drive the thing and let dirt infect the engine bay!!

Amazing motor but I can't help thinking the power is a waste. I would either have an imacculate example or a very fast one. As above I wouldn't like to ruin such a clean example but using the suspension/brakes/engine on the track where it belongs

Yeah i agree 7500 is 7500 and that gets a lot of car if you look about. but considering this had 30 grand spent on it and some fools ask 5 grand for series 2's that are one step away from the glue factory i recon a serious rs nut will pay that.
if i took off my sensible head and got it i'm sure my g.f would break my kneecaps with a toffee hammer but id be happy ..broken limbed..ogling it in the garage.
and lets not forget people still pay 15-16 grand for escort cossies..which are still in all fairness performance and heritage aside..ford escorts.

I've probably spent over £8k on my H reg Pug, but i'd still rather have it than any other newer and std performance car, for now

nice looking car and looks well cared for but, for that money I think the money would be better spent on a more standard car.
Would still rather have an S1 over the S2 and theres some minters about for less than the price of this car.

Warms it up every week and its only done 20 miles since sept.........that cannot do the engine any good or can it ? (never have a chance to properly warm up will it?)
I acknowldege a lot of hard work has gone into it, but surely you'd want to drive it more than that to appreciate it ?

I think its fantastic, but not a car I would want to own myself.
As other have said would always prefer a Series 1 and also would prefer it to be on std RS wheels

Can't really see how it's got '200' kilos of bling.
Just a few dress up parts in the bay to make it look a bit better.
Still lovely tho.
