Saw one on the road - looked OK but not as good as in the pictures - which is usually the reverse of the Bangle'esque design.
Did he design this one - I thought he left BMW a while ago?

I don't really like the new shape 3 series in 5 door, but I saw a coupe the other day and it looked superb. Just hope they've sorted the reliability issues out

It manges to be both lighter and stiffer than the old model and the engine is a dream - rev hungry at the top end as well as smooth and torquey at the bottom!
However the ride is very firm (which I like) but it won't suit everyone ...

Theyre nice, but so pricey - 335d coupe is over £35k as standard, and youre looking at £38k with options like leather and big alloys...
I agree they do look great tho! Almost tempted myself, but I feel there'll become so common the resale wont be that great when you come to sell on in 2years.

The company have quoted me 55% retained value after 3 years / 54,000 miles - which is rather better than my scoob which has lost 60% in the same period / mileage ....
