Default 1989 BMW E34 535iA Mtec

Hi All,

I've got one an '89 E34 535i Auto with the full Mtec options package fitted from new. Just wondered what the world thought it was worth. 5 mths Tax, 11 mths MOT.
Spec:-
Purpley/Blue colour
Private NI number plate
Body in ok cond for year but was a London car for years so a few scuffs etc..
Auto box with Economy, Sport and Snow settings
4x Elec Windows (drivers one shot)
Full elec tilt slide steel s/roof
Full working air con
Trip computer
std 1989 Blaupunkt stereo
Tool kit mostly still there
Full elec mirrors with auto reversing drop on pass. side
Full Elec Black Leather Heated Mtec Recaro Seats with memory on drivers side
Big Mtec cross spoke metric rims with good tyres all round (Good spare)
Lowered Mtec suspension
Mtec LSD
Leather 3 spoke Mtec s/wheel and shift handle
Front/Rear spoilers
Debadged

It really is a fantastic car for it's age. Everything works, mainly due to regualar servicing while in London with my ex's dad from new. Recently had all filters, plugs and front discs done.
One bad point. It's got 232k on the clock.

What's it worth?

Cheers
DR

Sounds like the Yardies might want it for drive by's !

Can't be worth much based on the mileage and dings, 500 quid ?

Default Yea, I know...

To be honest, that's what i've been thinking, but it's just TOO good to flog to gangland/drug lord ownership in Northampton/Coventry... If I had the room I'd keep it.

Ho hum...

I have a 1989 535i sport, with a mere 120,000 miles on it, as a stand in track car (great to teach in, docile but can bite) and drifter

Think I paid £700 for it, with 11months tax and test, full leather, no rust and M5 wheels, but reckon is should be worth around that for a good while (have had it nearly 12 months now)

heres my 535 sport...I paid a lot more than £500 for it but it is in time warp condition and has only done 66K, manual as well..remapped to 226BHP so she goes well enough

If you really want to get rid of it, sell it for parts, has it got leather?

I know someone who is looking for a 535 engine....

Dave R, let us know what you want for it if you do end up selling it, I'd be very interested in buying.

Your pics don't seem to work mate.

Thanks, ive passed it on to a form member, your mate might want to re think the description thou, theres no such thing as a close ratio sport box on E34's, E30's yes...all the 535's had the same ratios..base model,SE and sport
