MX-5's They ain't so bad.
I gotta say, the more I drive it, the more I love it
Sold the scoob and I have borrowed or rather I've been rather generously lent, Jaydees MX-5 while I wait for my replacement car.
It's brilliant and I'll hear no more about it
People who call it a hairdressers car cannot drive or don't have any concept whatsoever about the thrill of driving. Fact!

Ah you see the light !!
Ha ha its only the people that have never driven an MX-5 that call it a hair dressers car ! Mazda could certainly teach Subaru a thing or two about steering feel !
My old supercharged MX-5 was so much fun and a great Scoob baiter ! Just too damm small !

Always though they were underrated - there's not many RWD cars out there that are that cheap (despite the hairdresser image). By all accounts the BBR turbo converted ones were 'pretty quick'.
Having said that, I wouldn't get one - top down motoring isn't for me (burn too easily in the sun). Which I'm guessing is not a problem for you eh

I keep toying with the idea of pulling the engine out and sticking 3.9 rover V8 in there.
