Petrol - 62 litres for £6.02 - Honest
Petrol has just dropped by a third here in Saudi Arabia.
I put 62 litres in my BMW 523 touring yesterday and it cost £6.02!
I wonder what spin our great labour government would put on that?

Hi
I used to work in Saudi Arabia.
It used to really worry me when the guy filling up the car was smoking and we left the engine running to keep the AC going!!
Never saw any garage explosions in my time there (although we have plenty of photos of some amazing car crashes in the desert!!)

Well they still drive like dick heads honest! - and they still take no notice about smoking etc around petrol - been here since 1999 and not quite sure how much longer - Mortgage finishes next month and hope to save a bit for a new Scooby at home then maybe its time to 'get a life' again although 'the boss' will have to kerb the spending back home just a bit!

Grew up in the 80's in Kuwait. Very early on in the 80's petrol was free 
When they eventually did charge for it fuel (as they call it) was exactly twice the price of water

Cheap motoring!
Oh and Steve i still get a pint or two in Dubai, not dry like Saudi
and cheap petrol. Oh and it is 40 degrees today, off to the beach after work!Roger, where abouts are you in Saudi?

Based in Riyadh but do a lot of work in Dhahran just across from Bahrain.
Sure wish it was Dubai.....
