Default MINI Conv Cooper S

Sa one of these at the weekend and it looked real nice in grey. Started me thinking about chopping in the wife's Golf for one, the residuals are excellent. Anyone got one and can recount ownership experience?

Cool

Cracking car for the wife, we have just taken delivery of the following
Mini Cooper S Convertible
Six speed auto wth paddle shift
Chilli pack
Six stack CD
Front centre arm rest
Multi function steering wheel
Cruise control
Chilli red colour coded dash and door cards
Red/Grey leather
Heated seats
Chrome line interior
Chrome line exterior
Wind deflector
Heated washer jets & door mirrors
TLC pack

Goes very well in the straight line, round corners it is superb steering is pin sharp
with loads of feed back.

Makes you feel good every time you get behind the wheel.

Just out of interest DBY, have you got kids? We have two (2 and 5), would they fit in the back in comfort?

Went to test a Mini cooper S with my two children. Neither of them could fit behind the drivers seat because there is so little leg room. Shame really because they are a lovely car. My children are only eight as well.

Bit of a tight squeez with two, we have the one (6) so not to bad wife pulls the seat forward to allow circulation to the feet & ankles LOL

My other car is an Evo with four doors and a decent sized boot.

The Sti is there for long trips, however may have to try the backseats for the school run.
