He's had that advertise on his site for years. Considered it myself, but think the price is just too high for what is a 10 year old car.
How has it been stored? If it's been just standing there on its wheels, then surely the suspension will have sagged? What about the oil in the engine? or has it been stored on ramps, and engine drained?
Looks mint though. I love Cosworths and would have very seriously though about it at £19-20K, but no more.

25k is silly money for it, and the bidding isnt even finished yet.

Very nice, but I'd not part with 28k for it, pristine example or not.
I thought Ford switched to a smaller rear spoiler on later cars, and therefore shouldn't this car have the smaller spoiler rather than the whale tail?

Of course its worth it. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay. 62 bids tells the story...
Not a bargain agreed, but IMHO not over the top either. A friend paid £30k for a standard 2000 mile EsCos in 1999.
As an investment, keep in that state and it will (slowly) appreciate. There are far better ways to invest £28k, but it's a lot more fun than a savings account.
If you decided to drive it every day, it would probably still depreciate less than a brand new STi.
