just bought evo 6
having owned 2 scoobs the first a uk sti 8 ppp and secondly a spec c now owned by this sites main moderator you no the one ... its always being modified to the highest level stage 1 then 2 etc.. its killing me wish he would give it a rest and sell it back to me !!!! (should never had sold it!!) but you live and learn ...
Anyway just thought i would post the fact how different these cars are , i would rate the evo over the sti uk ppp for outright performance but the evo in standard form is way behind the spec c .
i am happy with the evo as it is totally standard and you can see where the tuning is needed, the power delivery is quite different to both of the scoobs, infact theres a bit of lag with the evo?
would be intresting if any one else has any comments on the evo and any good suggestions on good tuning outletsetc....
cheers gatty

Both cars have only been modified with an exhaust system.
The 6 spools up lower down & feels more on the boil more quickly but seems to tail off were the sti7 is still pulling.
Driver feedback on the 6 feels more neutral, It does not give you the feedback that the Sti7 does.
Build wise i think the Sti7 has the upper hand less squeeks & groans & noise !! Well the scoob wins hands down with a proper exhaust note.
Im not sure how well me & the 6 will get along but only time will tell
