I hope the police get this **** too. If he thinks thats acceptable driving on a public road then I for one would rather he wasn't on the road at all. Instead of the police out with mobile cameras nicking people for a couple of mph over the speed limit why arn't they taking morons like this off the road at such "meets".
I've been to meets but stuff like that was never done. Thats not about appreciating other peoples cars but more about driving like a complete w4nker

as said above,this doesnt seem acceptable.but from going to both ford and jap night, the ford one is by far the more entertaining one!!.yes the are a lot of chavs down there n no it shouldnt be done on an open road,but the police are constantly going past and keeping a good eye on things.this ford in the vid is just one of many that do these antics,there is also 2 mk2 escorts that go sideways round there together!!!.i would never have taken my p1 within miles of the place,as it is dangerous what they do, but its one hell of a fun night out!!!.

Used to see lots of this sort of looning about at bike meets, always used to be fun watching blokes doing wheelies and burnouts - right up to the point where someone loses it and loops a bike into the crowd. Doesn't seem so amusing then.
Should not really do this on the public highway, it's pretty stupid.

Cost of having a nice sierra cosworth, thousands of pounds
Cost of having a nice cossie and having your antics posted on a public forum with the number plate on display and displaying clear evidence for dangerous driving, priceless
Licence=bye bye

Do it once or twice Ok but this is plain daft. Good fun to watch though.
Was anyone there for the Jap night when the police started to chase people and the guy on the motorbike did a runner and came back later via the footbridge ?

'Anyone who drives like this on the public highway deserves to be called a maniac'
Seriously, they should provide an arsing about area for this kind of stuff and nail anybody who does it on the road cos it does go wrong.

I'm a ford nut myself and i've seen seen one crash in maybe the last year i've been goingto Ace Cafe. Didn't involve doughnuts just a pratt on the straight who couldn't control his saph cossie, back end swung into a crappy mitsi.
It is dangerous on the face of it but these guys are really good drivers, the tandem doughnuts look amazing, as mentioned the two brothers with cossie powered MK2 escorts when they come down just take your breath away.
I assumed most Ace meets were like this
As for you CHINS how you can tell car enthusiasts who physically meet up and use their cars to get a life, when you're behind a keyboard on an enthusiast website is laughable. Lighten up mate

Don't think it that bad myself. Some good control over the car. As far as I saw he wasn't speeding, had control over the car and he wasn't breaking the law as far as I know. Probably a different matter down the high street at lunchtime.
