wide 18 March 2006 09:29 AM

astraboy 18 March 2006 09:33 AM

astraboy.

J4CKO 18 March 2006 11:28 AM

I thought it was pretty cool, want to finish the fronts off on my car but it just judders like f*ck.

kammy 18 March 2006 08:30 PM

Tithead on a public road with other cars about. Atleast do it when it is not busy or do it in a empty car park etc.

jonnyrex 18 March 2006 09:04 PM

Thought is was a 'BM' at first ,with the throttle stuck..lol

AudiLover 19 March 2006 12:19 AM

lol this is quite amusing. Gonna go visit ace cafe one day and steal some slappers.

furrydice79 19 March 2006 02:20 AM

its like this ten fold at every ford rs night, great fun,, wish they had this kinda fun at jap night:)..

<edited> in fact this is the guy i seen at rs night last week..quality...

Frazer 19 March 2006 02:22 AM

Surprised there wasn't a K reg WRX (red/silver with pink badges and lexus lights of course) getting in on the chavtastic burn outs.

Chins 19 March 2006 08:01 AM

How sad that people do this and go to see this. Get a life springs to mind

JGRIFF 19 March 2006 09:34 AM

Famous quotation

Chins know where your coming from, I think

"It is life Cap'n but not as we know it"

sums it up

cat7 19 March 2006 09:51 AM

He's hardly moving?! Not exactly uber dangerous!

PG 19 March 2006 08:32 PM

Oh dear, oh dear.

Bravo2zero_sps 19 March 2006 08:58 PM

I hope the police get this tw4t too. If he thinks thats acceptable driving on a public road then I for one would rather he wasn't on the road at all. Instead of the police out with mobile cameras nicking people for a couple of mph over the speed limit why arn't they taking morons like this off the road at such "meets".

I've been to meets but stuff like that was never done. Thats not about appreciating other peoples cars but more about driving like a complete w4nker

P-1prodrive 19 March 2006 09:24 PM

as said above, this doesnt seem acceptable.but from going to both ford and jap night, the ford one is by far the more entertaining one!!.yes the are a lot of chavs down there n no it shouldnt be done on an open road, but the police are constantly going past and keeping a good eye on things.this ford in the vid is just one of many that do these antics, there is also 2 mk2 escorts that go sideways round there together!!!.i would never have taken my p1 within miles of the place,as it is dangerous what they do, but its one hell of a fun night out!!!.

Big Daz 19 March 2006 09:31 PM

:shakes head:

Iwan 19 March 2006 10:52 PM

Used to see lots of this sort of looning about at bike meets, always used to be fun watching blokes doing wheelies and burnouts - right up to the point where someone loses it and loops a bike into the crowd. Doesn't seem so amusing then. :(

Should not really do this on the public highway, it's pretty stupid.

King Eric 19 March 2006 11:02 PM

Cost of having a nice sierra cosworth, thousands of pounds

Cost of having a nice cossie and having your antics posted on a public forum with the number plate on display and displaying clear evidence for dangerous driving, priceless

Licence=bye bye :cry:

AllanB 20 March 2006 08:44 PM

Do it once or twice Ok but this is plain daft. Good fun to watch though.

Was anyone there for the Jap night when the police started to chase people and the guy on the motorbike did a runner and came back later via the footbridge ?

falkster 20 March 2006 08:54 PM

total dicks!! Thats probably why there are that many good 3rd Cosworths around these days

J4CKO 20 March 2006 09:25 PM

'Anyone who drives like this on the public highway deserves to be called a maniac'

http://www.leicestershireandrutlandc...wartSpals3.jpg

Seriously, they should provide an arsing about area for this kind of stuff and nail anybody who does it on the road cos it does go wrong.

Luan Pra bang 20 March 2006 09:29 PM

Trouble is Public liability insurance Health and saftey etc make it impossible to provide dedicated areas for it. Unless people are willing to pay.

J4CKO 20 March 2006 09:54 PM

Ahhh, fair comment.

cookstar 21 March 2006 12:04 AM

*puts flame suit on :)

To be fair, he stopped when other car where about, and everyone near the car knew what he was doing and it their risk to accept.

I do like the video :)

Adam Hybrid 21 March 2006 01:03 AM

I'm a ford nut myself and i've seen seen one crash in maybe the last year i've been goingto Ace Cafe. Didn't involve doughnuts just a pratt on the straight who couldn't control his saph cossie, back end swung into a crappy mitsi.

It is dangerous on the face of it but these guys are really good drivers, the tandem doughnuts look amazing, as mentioned the two brothers with cossie powered MK2 escorts when they come down just take your breath away.

I assumed most Ace meets were like this

As for you CHINS how you can tell car enthusiasts who physically meet up and use their cars to get a life, when you're behind a keyboard on an enthusiast website is laughable. Lighten up mate :nono:

Good point :thumb:

Hows it going Adam, hows that build of yours coming along? :D

scoobynutta555 21 March 2006 09:18 AM

Don't think it that bad myself. Some good control over the car. As far as I saw he wasn't speeding, had control over the car and he wasn't breaking the law as far as I know. Probably a different matter down the high street at lunchtime.
