Default jap killer cosworth - wow

http://www.totb.co.uk/images/movies/...in_hadland.wmv

What a piece of kit, ultra rapid and enough to take on all supercars.
I want one

It used to be the daddy but it was starting to fall behind It got totalled in the gumball in May (?) 2004 and is currently being rebuilt but it has some catching up to do. It was an awesome beast back in the day

yeh i think this is the first one, i believe its now getting rebuilt due to the mishap at a track day or something. The purpose of the post is to show the potency of the old fords, they have been taking a bit of a hammering since the jap metal became popular. Just goes to show what can be done.

I'm expecting the 'new' Reyland Cossie will be right back up there... Check out this thread for info on the new Engine thats built for it.

Also check out www.reyland.co.uk for pics of the new shell.

Cheers,
Grant

Do you know much about Ford Tuning.... Did you even look at that thread, or just look at the power figures.

Theres no denying imo that fords are hell of a lot cheaper in general to tune and modify than japanese cars. Ive had 7 rs turbos and 1 sti jdm, the amounts of money spent on the one scoob far outwieghed what i spent on the rs escorts as a whole. However in saying that, i reckon that to build something like the reyland beast you would need deep deep pockets.
Beautiful power delivery though !
