Default Fiat 500

Toying witht the idea of buying a Fiat 500. Always liked the look of them and fancy something a bit different for a while.

They seem to be a bit thin on the ground in the usual places I would look - Autotrader and Pistonheads. Anyone got any ideas on a Fiat based website etc where one might be found?

Thanks

Be careful, lots of bodged up rotboxes out there, we had one a few years back, lhd from Italy, restored to Italian standard, looked nice but the floor was held to gether with ally plate and mastic. Good fun but to be honest in modern traffic you get in the way as they are soooooo slow.

I passed my test in one in 1985, loved it to bits, restored it three times... learning more each time, i keep looking on ebay, there's a few there at the moment, everything from rot box upwards.... i lust after an Abarth... or even replica's........ Let me know if you find a good one, i may beat you to it!!!

Had one back in 1976. Floor dropped out with 5 in, sometime during 1977... Would have one again like a shot. Wonderful cars, albeit a bit fragile.

The above sounds like the description of any Italian car ever.

I would have one!
