I really like the look of them.
Only really seen the black ones on the advert and the one on here the guy has just bought, but saw a red one lunchtime and I have to say its a very nice looking car.
Dont care how fast it is, how it handles, it looks a cracker of a car to me...........

Looks nice from the outside but not sure about the dash. If its the same as the toledo dash in the hire car i had it was a bit plasticky. Rich coming from a subaru owner i know but seats used to have decent audi style dashes and the one i experienced was built well enough but it had acres of empty black plastic. The whole dash looked far to big for all the small buttons and controls.

Having had 107,000 trouble free miles in my current Leon, I think the new leon will definatly have to be considered when TDI replacement time comes. I think Walter DaSilva is behind the design, for those who dont know, he designed the Alfa 156, similar lines and inspiration are certainly evident on the exterior of the new generation of Seat.
I agree to a certain extent about the acres of black plastic on the dash, provided that it is a durable enough I think I could live with it. I wonder though if Seat have spent some of the interior budget on other aspects of the car?

Had a look at a 140bhp Sport Diesel in the showroom yesterday as I waited for my LCR to be serviced. Have to say, very impressed with the interior, better sports seats than in my LCR, lovely instruments and display ( very similar to Audi DIS? display ), and a nice stearing wheel. Looked great in the metallic black colour. Will be very tempted to get one when the Cupra comes out later in the year. The salesmen in the showroom are still in the dark as to releas dates / spec of the Cupra incidently, though they said it is rumoured to be 240bhp .
