Celica GT-FOUR HOT or NOT?
Hi everybody!
Just wanted to know if anybody else has previously owned one of these?
Having owned a gorgeous black Carlos sainz GT-Four myself for two years, it had to go to make way for the boxer burble
Celica was a very nice car, though a little on the heavy side. I wish I had the money back then to buy the ST205 model.
Anybody had any run-ins on the road with an ST205? I know they're 240bhp standard so potential is there.

Thats my Celica, and its awesome.
When it was standard it ran 279bhp @ 0.9bar on the R/R and now its had a few mods, its running 400.2bhp @ 0.9bar.
I am a huge Impreza fan, standard for standard, I might be swayed towards a Classic STi.... but if planning big mods then the Celica is a safer option IMO.

Yea mate, for definite.... I've had 2 Classic Imprezas as well and the noise is very addictive!!
To answer your initial question, my UK Impreza with just a de-cat exhaust and filter ran a 13.3 and my GT4 ran a 13.6 when completely standard.. so there isnt a huge performance gap.
Cheers,
Grant

What I love about them is that most people do not have a clue what they are, or whats under the bonnet.
Especially as mine is 450bhp... get a fair few people look surprised as they get wasted big time.

RS Grant thats a lovely example you have there mate. I'm another ST205 owner and they are good cars even in standard form (like mine is). But like most Jap owners i've got respect for any jap performance car.
