It was a shame that they sold it with only 224bhp and 4 injectors unplugged

Maybe a project car when I have too much money and time
At $6500+engine+gearbox+axle+shipping+tax Oh, and of course a Focus
it's not the cheapest of conversions

But so much can be done to it. I have the nice task of doing my bit to help run one in for a 1000 miles with well over 600bhp.

I used to regulary see a family friend's 500 in the bodyshop quite often.....
Spent more times going sideways (and then backwards
) than it did going forwards.

TBH there is no no mechanical or engineering based reason why the car cannot be produced. It exists as a Volvo V50 AWD T5. Same engine, floor pan and running gear. All ford needs to do is tweak the brakes, suspension and steering etc. So basically it is either down to money or the fact it won't be exciting enough, or the Volvo based AWD isn't good enough, which is unlikely as it works the same as he S60R running gear, and that is awesome. So to those people who are disappointed at the news that they are not producing the car, go buy / try a Volvo V50 T5 AWD.
