err... its not engine out to change the cambelt. There are many garages up and down the country that will change your cambelt in a few hours. Powerfiat.co.uk charge £399 for that cambelt change for example, but that involves changing all associated parts, which cost about £250.
As for speed, 14.5 0-100 and 0-60 a touch above 6 seconds. They handle pretty well and fit a set of coilovers for about £450, they are fast on the track. Have a look at http://www.forum.fccuk.org for more info.
I also love the looks of them, some don't but that doesnt bother me as its nice to drive somthing that isnt all that common on the roads.

They look very dated now mate . I bought a 20v normally aspirated model about 7 yrs ago because I loved the look of them . Cost me 14k at the time and to say it was a crap car is an understatment. Shocking build quality and I had no end of problems. The FIAT dealers were excellent though I have to say. Handles like a barge as well. This topic has been done to death on here.

For what its worth 10 years on and manufacturers are still trying to get a design as striking as the coupe. Look at the Hyndai coupe, Mazda RX-8 etc. The build quality is also very very good, mines 8 years old and in the three years ive owned it., all i've done is service it and replace a clutch.

I owned one for a year upto a couple of months ago and owned a TEK2 Scooby before that.
I would say the Fiat (slightly modded also to 250bhp) was pretty quick and was the fastest car I owned over 70mph accelerating where it would really get into it's stride. Although the power was fun, the handling never inspired and it never really felt fun to drive unless it was a super smooth road. I use to be scared of hitting any slight bump on a fast section of road as it would bounce the car all over the place. As previously mentioned though, the suspension can be sorted with some coilovers which other Coupe owners have raved about.
I sold it in the end for a Honda Accord Type R. With the wife about to give birth in the next 2-3 weeks I needed something a lot more practical. Yet I can easily say the Accord Type R is a much better drivers car than the Coupe.
Cheers,
Ant
