Default Some of my cars from years ago

Was mucking about with my camera early taking pics of my old pics.

My first car. I loved this car and wish I still had it. If your gonna have two tone, why have top and bottom It had a couple of engines while it was in my hands. The last one had no reverse gear so i had to push it out of parking spaces. The passenger door lock didn't work but i found a stone of the correct size to stop would be theifs. You could start it with any key, infact you could start it with anything. With an Austin 1300 GT engine on twin 1/2 SU's it went well though.

MK4 spitfire, only had this one 4 months drive shaft went at the back, common fault back then. £70 to replace and I was worried the other side would go so got rid. More twin SU's and the ability to sit on the front wheel while tinkering with the engine.

2Ltr Ghia Capri, I liked this one, however it went up in flames outside of Salisbury college. I had just finished cleaning and polishing it. The front was gone but the rear was gleaming. Got a good insurance pay out.

A late 1275GT, again I wish i'd have kept this one, really liked it. Had 5 mini's in total, gotta love them.

MG metro with red revolution alloys. Couple of small engine mods to give just over 100bhp. Used to eat Turbo's lol. Two years old when I bought it. used to be a real head turner
Whatever happened to whiteing up your tyre letters?

TVR S3, had this one for 7 years and loved every minute of it. Only overheated once, other than that never let me down. Must have another TVR one day.

1800GSI ashtray. Again a real nice car, sold it to my friend 7 years ago and he still has it.

Had literally loads of other cars but havent got pics of them........

and the one I love the most, my first car of course. Who could beat it. A two tone mini, carlos fandango extra wide wheels on the back, cibie oscars x 4, bucket seats, real blacked out windows, rear louvered window oh yes, different exhaust every week. Most mornings out with the WD40 trying to get the bloody thing to start,Oil changed once a week, well actually it ran out once a week so i had to top it back up again. More grased knuckles than I could shake a stick at.
So if anyone knows the where abouts of this thing of beauty give me a shout, XOW xxxJ.

Nice to see some piccies from the past, my dad had a similar mini (not 2 tone though ), and a virtually identical capri.

He never had a TVR though, lovely looking car.
