£8k car?
As title suggests, I'll be looking for a new car shortly and £8k is my budget.
I know these threads get done to death, but please bear with me and give me some inspiration.
I've had 5 Scoobs on the trot now so feel like something different.
The ONLY criteria is that it must not be a two seater.
Let me hear your weird and wonderful ideas, I'm open to suggestions!

Must have decent performance.
Must have back seats, although 2 doors is acceptable.
Must keep me interested and not hating it after 5 minutes!
Thats it really.
Fuel, insurance etc are not a concern after 5 Imprezas!

Have you had an m3?
m3 autotrader link
Old 3 series isn't for everyone but I still like the m3's.
Integra type r as mentioned above.
celica gt4? might get an evo4 for that kind of money too.

Vectra GSI.
Those cars are so bloody good it's untrue. 8k gets a 2001 car with 30k miles on it. Has EVERYTHING, solid as a rock and looks cool.
It will not annoy you in any way, shape or form.

E36 M3 is a definite possibility
Also quite like Accord Type R's and they are well cheap.
Audi A4 2.8 V6 Quattro sounds appealing too, whats the spec on them? (bhp/torque etc etc)
Decisions decisions......

For 8K you just might get a Audi S4.
AWD, 265bhp, 299 lb/ft torque. Better than an M3 in my opinion, you can use all the power all the time. Get it chipped and you can get some serious power. Aterall the RS4 is just a tuned S4.

Hmm, think I'd prefer a better "lesser" car than a beaten up 8k S4.
