Sit in the back of one for a long journey and you'll realise why they don't care what the outside looks like! The owner of our company has one (along with a bentley and a rolls I think). No wonder I got a crappy inflation pay rise.

Personally I'd have a Phantom but there you go.

Saw a Phantom and a Maybach in New York about three weeks ago. Both hotel chauffer vehicles.

Saw my first Maybach on the M25 last week - ugly as sin. Just goes to show money does not buy you class or style.

Am I the only person who thinks the Maybach looks like a giant Toyota Avensis?

I think it is quite telling that where I work in London W1 I see on average 2 R-R Phantoms a day, whereas I have probably seen a total of 6 Maybachs since they were launched.

Having sat in the back of both, the Maybach may have more toys and 'aircraft' style seats etc.,.. but just like on the outside the Royce is SO much more classy on the inside.
