Default Skyline?

My Legacy B4 was written off a while back and I'm expecting the money fairly soon, about 12 grand.

There is a nearly identical Legacy B4 for sale for that price, 2.0 TT, Manual, Lesther, Violet Blue Mica.

However a local japanese car specialist has just imported a silver 1995 Skyline R33 GTS. 13000 miles, 1 owner (in Japan) immaculate apart from one stonechip and one tiny scratch.

Do you think it's a good idea, what are they like to drive? (especially over long distances) and what is the fuel consumption like?

Is it a GTS or a GTS-T? 13,000 miles is very low for the age it is. Make sure it has history with it. www.skylineowners.com would be a good place to ask more questions.

It's a turbo one, it was in immaculate condition, but I just didn't like it, the interior reminded me of my grandads 1989 Ford Escort van (only with a boost gague)

Looking at a Legacy B4 again, or I saw a nice 1996 STI 2 in Active Red, which seems somewhat rare.
