cant say anything other than i have been round the block in one and they are very quick and the guy who owns it raves about it doing 55mpg at 70-80mph
he also prefers it to his Jag XK8 so they must be good!!!!!

Usually the owners trying to make a point, anyone else noticed how aggresively some of these get driven ?

Pretty good car though, dont disreagrd the lower power models either, they all have similar torque so the difference between each power level isnt that great.

Private sale or Dealer?

Full history?

The 150's had a history of turbo seals blowing and cylinder head gaskets trouble due to the compression ratio they are running.

I must say though, as an owner of a TDI PD 130 (2nd car) they are awesome, I sat at 75mph from Aberdeen to Manchester (430 miles) and used just under 3/4 of a tank of diesel!

CANNOT BEAT THAT!

Also heard that the 150 had a few problems, told by a vw insider , so i went for the 130 totally amazing car. Stupid thing was i added a tuning chip and it made it 160 anyway hehehe had no reliability probs with the 130 and the chip.

Cheers for the info..

Haddnt heard about problems with the 150's, just the early 130's going bang.. But will look into it..

Its private, so should easily be able to get a few hundred quid off, especially at this time of year!

Tell me after I agree to buy it why dont you!!

So long as it pops before next August, when the warranty runs out...

Pay for it, and pick it up in the morning all been well....

Cheers for the help
