Default Recomend me a fun car (every day runner)

I think I'm about to sell my scoob sport due to its running problems and I can't afford to throw anymore money at it.

So I'll be looking for a cheap (about £1000) fun car as a daily driver. Fancy a RWD car this time, had FWD and AWD so its the only 1 I haven't had. There as a G plate E36 BMW for sale near me for 500 which might do as it only has to last the next 12 months.

You can pick up the likes of a 306 XSi for a grand, R19 16v, mk2 golf gti, mini (though i wouldnt like to have an accident in one ), seat ibiza gti, 106 rallye or xsi.
Some to be going on with

Ok, sorry forgot something I need a decent amount of bootspace. I'm a diver and for those of you that also dive will know the amount of kit is horrendous.
