Well the wifes TD5 is coming up to the end of its 3 year warranty, and the nice people at our landrover dealership asked if we wanted to part with some money to extend the warranties life.. hmm, not for 900 plus pounds a year i do not

The Disco TDI we had used to be 700 a year, a newer, more modern and so called more reliable variant is 200 plus more ...guess i will have to shop around. Anyone had any similar ridiculous quotes from their main dealers of late.. I know Subaru quoted me something like 400 for 2 years on the UK300

They must be incredibly unreliable still to justify an annual premium or £700, let alone £900. On that basis it sounds like the perfect time to trade it in for something else !

I sell 4 x 4 cars and the Landrover range costs twice as much to put a warranty on as any other four wheel drive!!!!!!!!!
This is from 3 different warranty companies.
When I asked why, I was shown some of the info on breakdowns and costs per claim.
All landrover products should be scrapped after 3 years when the manufacturerers warranty runs out.
