I thought the car was great, but i maybe thinking that the 2.7 V6 in the RS4 is a better engine, it was frustrating for me to watch, and expect the car to be aggresive but even with that power it still seemed a bit of a cruiser. That V8 isn't really a revver of an engine, but a bit purry - still defo would though

I wasn't really that impressed to be honest! It certainly went very well but I expected it to pull in that Corolla type thing that went past on the motorway a lot quicker than it did. Just didn't seem savage enough low down for me. Seemed like all the power was 120mph+ when you don't really notice it anyway (unless you are actually in the car).

Seriously, did anyone else think it is a bit slow? Surprisingly disappointing compared with the hype, the 100-180/200/220kph at best were almost as good as my Scooby was with 434 BHP - which still has four seats and full interior, looks like it would be obliterated by the best Scoobies. I know they are heavy, but I thought they threw away hundreds of kilos of interior?

60-100mph from another source is 4.7, which is identical to the figures I got off my Scooby at 434 BHP two up. Andy's Scooby without nitrous or additives is in mid 3s for the same increment.
Looks like the other 146 BHP is just pulling the heavy body and giving it a nice top speed.

I'm glad someone else agrees with me. I fully expected a saxobashing session over my comments that a 580bhp car seemed a little slow!

That is one theory but I prefer the one that its a lazy v8 powering an overbloated barge
You know its funny - of late I've been having 'I want a scooby again' thoughts and have been planning my virtual mods to a virtual type-r but I NEVER forget to factor in a surge tank. Now those days are gone I don't want them back!

A handheld video camera is never going to give a decent impression of speed, especially when it was all on straight bits of tarmac.

found that a bit boring. certainly not hyper quick for the power. not worth 1hour for the download of some bloke just overtaking cars on dual carriageway/motorway
