Question A4 Cabriolet

My company car is due for change soon, and my car list contains some fairly unexciting 4dr/5drs up to ~£21k. However there is an A4 Cab going spare at the moment from someone who was a grade above me but has since left, and there is a good chance they'll let me have it if I ask nicely.

It's a 1.8T with leather, reverse park sensor, and Bose stereo. I've always wanted an open top, however it's going to cost a shed load more each month in tax and fuel.

Has anyone got any experience of these cars? Would it be worth the extra money or would I regret it? I do ~25k miles a year so what are they like as long distance cruisers? What are they like on motorways with the roof down?

Any other comments/info greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Steve.

Someone at work has just bought one of these and he loves it. Looks very smart, although I suspect it is rather slow.
